The Black Rose

The Black Rose Poems

A Black Rose,
Glistening in the rain,
A sign, a symbol,
An insignia of loss,
...

The night is young,
And I am fresh,
Craving for the warmth,
That lays in another,
...

I’m trapped,
Somewhere between life and death,
In a world of pain and hurt,
Betrayal got me here,
...

When the last warrior has won,
his legacy long past,

When destiny has worked its course,
...

The world is throbbing in your eyes,
blurry and hazy,
everything just flys by,
...

In a world where anything is possible,
Why are we forsaken to despair,
death,
hate,
...

To break my heart,
Day by day,
and live our life in the same old way,
I beleived you were something true,
...

A knife to your throat,
A glass of poison at your lips,
A dagger poised upon the heart,
A razor at your wrist,
...

Heavens on fire as the last day burns out the sky,
Setting the world with an eerie orange glow,
Streaked through with pinks and reds,
Stealing the breath of those below,
...

Whispers of the eternal mind,
Seeping through a midsummers night,
lost inside yourself,
nothing to turn to,
...

Cant stand this anymore,
ravaging my world just like before,
all those times i look at you,
wonder what i ever saw in you,
...

Soft warmth eminates from our lips,
will he find out?
...

Black Petals lay across the hay,
crimson pools around his feet,
a mirror so that only he can see,
last words dying across his face,
...

Fire slips,
the dark of night,
as we stand,
held so tight,
...

Wounded by a blade of no material world,
leaves a mark that can never trully be healed,
each time somone else crys the fate,
i fall,
...

I take my solice in words,
each one a tear that no one will ever see,
my heart stretchs and shrinks,
but youd never hear from me,
...

How to indulge a heart and soul,
when nothing it touches seems to be real,
...

Dark blade in hand,
its fate in your back,
while eyes of the abyss,
stare,
...

A Black Rose

A Black Rose,
Glistening in the rain,
A sign, a symbol,
An insignia of loss,
It’s the Flower of Darkness,
Lying in wait on this cold winter night,

It represents the beauty of despair,
The grace of defeat,
The feelings we all find hard to bear,
The millions of people that have all loved and lost,
All behind this flower that holds us aloft,

Within its petals we drown our grief,
With its stem we clutch to what’s left of life,
Within its thorns we spite those who have set us so
And within this dark flower we find our peace,
The power to let go and leave the loved lie,

So with this flower we sign our hearts,
We accept our everlasting love,
And move on,

A Black Rose,
Glistening in the rain,
Ill forever love you,
Ill never lose hope,
But until you come back,
Here’s a Black Rose,
For my love…
