Suzana Mustra Poems

It may seem very strange to you,
But it is something that I really do.

When my heart and soul cries,
...

Fly low,
But fly.
You're not a God
You're not a hero.
...

I'm not afraid of flames
cause your body is like an everlasting fire.
What scares me is that one day
Your eyes can become like ice.
...

I'm not a pebble in a pile,
I'm not a drop in the sea.
I'm the stone,
I'm the sea itself.

I don't want to beg for some crumbs,
it's not enough for me.
The leftovers are for the dumbs.
don't be afraid to ask, and to take,

Talking With The Butterflies

It may seem very strange to you,
But it is something that I really do.

When my heart and soul cries,
I'm talking with the butterflies.

Because I know that it is true,
That one of those butterflies is You.

I always tell them how was my day,
Hoping they will respond in the same way.

Sometimes I tell them about my son,
About my life and things that I've done.

And I won't be sad,
Because I know it's You, Dad!
