Proposal Poem by Daniel Parker

Proposal

Take my hand, your safe now, your free from all this pain,
My arms are where you really need to be,
My heart is yours to enter, your love is my domain,
You have the tools, so darling set me free,

The world outside is bitter, the winter months so cold,
Allow me to surround you, keep you warm,
With me enjoy our childhood, and then we can grow old,
Together we can weather any storm,

I'll offer you my being, I'll make you feel secure,
Together we can lead the perfect life,
For I will be a husband, a lover and much more,
All I ask is will you be my wife?
