Dangerous Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Dangerous

Dangerous

Jeffrey sat in my car
right away opened mouth
talked of where, how and why.

I, being who I am
got involved and took part.

He come of Africa
most South part.

Came along word of cold
and with it naturally, came Russia.

I stood to his face
when he said: "dangerous."

"Russia is coconut
white and rough its outside."
I learned of Sveta
and believe with full heart.

"Weak may be but are full of guts, "
told me he, our Sasha.

He too was my teacher
he taught me, much too much.
Cossack his grandpa
we learned of Afghan-time,
at start; how to bound
Russia and England
In war but under ash.

Much I have to say, write
if the age leaves alone.

"Dangerous is no one
but those who advertise."
