Blister Poem by Robert Miller

Blister

Rating: 2.5

why does she always turn to him, i can't understand
in the long run, i am so much better
i think she's missing something she sees in him
but in the long run, i would be better

i guess she's just a spoiled queen
i guess her claims are too high
i have always tried to satisfy
but the f****** quota is too high

it has always been this way and will be the same
i am sure, i can't convince her
but it still hurts, i can't forget
it's still there, and i must remember her

her face is milled into my soul
my defiled heart is raped as well
my existence is ravished forever
and my core is marred as well

now i'm here, pre-medicated and scared
i can't stop dreaming of this girl
i'm just afraid i can't light the torch
i can't get rid of the blister-like girl
