Solomon Ndichu Poems

Its the ticking of the clock I hear
A gift from my love
But you must be silent and yearn to hear to hear
The clock supported by the wall
...

When peace was only found six feet under
Hounds became lovelier than men
Hell became more heavenly than earth
Sons of men with so white eyes
...

Harmony got on its heels
When Athena was born
Archele's heel of gods
The sun battled the moon
...

Moments that i want to cry
But I want to make you happy
Time heals! Why are you getting worse?
Let me be there to calm your soul
...

Lost of love, lots of words
Lost of bliss, lots of pain
Wake up everyday with a jagged dagger in my heart
Recalling you are gone and gone forever
...

So he stands with his body strong
At a huge door, makes it look
Like the eye of a needle to a camel
Envy of men really!
...

Born among sons of a son
Son of flesh, son of the world
Shine your light
Show us the way.
...

This is what most of us feel;
Like a puzzle which can be solved by solving the rest
Why read it's hint!
Like a muddy house 'bout to be demolished

The Clock And The Wall

Its the ticking of the clock I hear
A gift from my love
But you must be silent and yearn to hear to hear
The clock supported by the wall
It reminds me of her
Reminds me of how time past us
As we slowly became past tense
Cause like the wall I was cold
Cause unlike the wall I was unsupportive
And as the clock
She reminded me, a wall, a man made of stone heart
Of our love and forgave me for every second wasted
But I did not hear the clock tick in its silence
I did not see her suffer in silence
The wall did not feel the nail was loose
I did not feel the relationship was loose
But I did hear the breaking of the clock as it hit the floor
But I did hear her screams when she could take no more
But time had ran out and she walked out
I did repair the clock but it was never as it were
But I could not repair us so we were never as we were.
And I wish on shooting stars
Drop lucky coins in the water
Look at the pictures and the mirror
'Am sorry! '
If pictures could tell
Of the present not only of past
Of thoughts not only of memories
If mirrors could tell
Of the future not only the present
Of wills not only of haves
If wishing stars were real
Not but a pile of falling stones!
If the many coins I dropped
Were enough to make luck come true
Then I would have you
Not forever.But enough time
To say 'Goodbye! '
