Silvia Jen Poems

1.

I trip and pick myself
Up I stand dusting out my pants,
And run for my life.
...

I woke up
the four walls taunting

I sat up
...

He is petty
He lives in a little well
He is ugly
warts and boils bubbling out from his face
...

You seduced and flirted,
with sunshine and blue skies,
bright flowers and warm breeze.
...

The whirlpool of wind,
made the leaves dance.
The torrents of rain,
flushed the colors away.
...

Staring spaced out I slouched,
before the flickering lights.
Just another day of sloth,
piling grime and mould.
...

Along intricately orchestrated highways
Neurons swerving, zooming
like messengers in a hurry
Bearing colorful packages of the world
...

O, to possess the fortune
of ink and physique
I can dive in and be engulfed
by the vast ocean of words
...

I awoke today,
with goosebumps on my arms

Hands of clock that sped,
...

Two forks in a road,
maybe even more than two,
None could be better.
...

I shut my eyes, and wandered off on a road with no end.
After path came more paths, with nothing in sight except for weeds on the side.

I open my eyes, drenched in sweat,
...

We beg to differ
while indulging in mass-produce
Drones of Today
you fight to stand out
...
