It is easy to imagine the rewards of a fruit
And often difficult to imagine the strength of its root
This idea of time is not as clear as it may seem
For the gain of pleasures takes the sacrifice of extensive measure

Why do I feel it necessary to help you out of this maze
When I mention the idea its as if your mind is clouded with a haze
I see no intention to work towards prevention of the slavery that will arise in your days
And so I realized im trying to help you escape the pain

Not always sure of this process that is so robotic
Not ever sure what will come of its product
Not much of a motivation to go through its motion
Nothing better than success of personal devotion

Theres this thing about the world
That keeps a person in a hold
You cant let it go it's the value of gold
I once was told it has the nature of a tornado
...

Why is it that we follow the followed
Even asking them how it is we should swallow
All this information and the way we live to our personal vibration
That's where we give into a whole realm of ignoring the truth

We don't really know everything about one another
And the distance may be growing farther
But when I feel close in your space
There is a deep feeling to embrace

sometimes I wish that we put our technology on hold
imagine being a fish trekking through the waters of the cold
not so that I can be in the mindset of the old
swimming in a direction not knowing whats been told

They say a man is wise
But usually its after they see him in his rise
Its not even about the ideas the mind or what they find
Just how much one is willing to devote their time
