Sanjida Amin Poems

It is the feeling of
sadness and longing.
It is the happiness
and surely a blessing.

Moments, my very own moments
When I thought I was the luckiest.
When I felt I was the happiest.

Counting what do I have left, if any?
To my surprise I still have a lot and so many!
I lost my sky but saved a cloud

Our Love

It is the feeling of
sadness and longing.
It is the happiness
and surely a blessing.
It is so meaningless
just like a rhyme.
Again too meaningful,
it is our prime.
It is like the dream
but too real.
It is like the wound
that never seems to heal.
Full of pain,
yet, too serene.
It is very simple
but hard to explain.

It might be the reality
that we will fall apart.
But it is the truth
I love you from my heart.
