Peaceful Afternoon As The Sun Sets

Peaceful afternoon as the sun sets
a flock of red-nosed dragonflies
hovers over the stillness of the water
their wings quivering, shining in the rejoicing,
gold glittering light

Autumn,
and the indolent languid
of it's abstracting diminishing days
inspires serenity onto the wide river's face
shutting it's eyes

From a distance, the dragonflies' wings-
descending, sequentially, one after the other
sipping water with their lips-
resemble the fingers of a master pianist,
generating wondrous harmonies
onto the waters' face
by the mean of their mere touch

Golden variations of sounds so delicate
no human ear can grasp-
not unless one opens
his conscious eyes.
