Friday, morning 9: 23 a.m. started my life of sin
78' April 21st is the day it all begin
Conceived out of deception, a product of infidelity
My parents dishonestly led to the birth of me

People of all races, seek the truth out of corruption
Anytime a life is spared for financial gain it hurts the public
Withering away what is true by controlling what we hear and see
Never cared that the people are destroyed from all of your fallacies
...

Frozen thoughts of past memories
Ignorance has blinded what usually seems
Okay to behave in a careless manner
The next false happiness is what matters
...

It is night outside but flashes of daylight come and go
Loud noises from the sky as the rain flows
The wind is vast and the trees are swaying
So quiet in the house fright has stopped playing
...

To this very date bigotry still remains
Though well polished and wiped off history has left a stain
Of the hatred that has been fatally fought
We are not born racist it is unfortunately taught

How precious is this gift we call life?

The Life Of Reltub Nayr Part ¼

Friday, morning 9: 23 a.m. started my life of sin
78' April 21st is the day it all begin
Conceived out of deception, a product of infidelity
My parents dishonestly led to the birth of me
My moms 2nd pregnancy, I'm one of them Butler boys
Lust is what got me here I was never her bundle of joy
Now, I can't say my mom didn't have love for me
Brought up in poverty a statistic of my own nationality
Cherished my elder siblings, because I learned early they cared
Keith got dressed for school and Kevin picked my hair
It's on to the playground where I play with Andre
On our big-wheels come on Mel racing down the pathway
At this time we lived with our family me and the twins
Aunt Pam, Uncle Gerald, Damon and Keisha them
This was the early 80's and life was so fun
In such a rush to get older Big Momma stressing slow down son
My family was all I had we had each others back
At 5 my verbal assault was aimed at the corner store owner Fats
He over charged my cousin, so I went to speak my mind
So bold I told my grandmother and she threatened to beat my behind
See those moments those life lessons will never be forgotten
R.I.P. Daddy there will never be another Reginald Cotton
