Pain, In A Happy Place Poem by Reltub Nayr

Pain, In A Happy Place

Frozen thoughts of past memories
Ignorance has blinded what usually seems
Okay to behave in a careless manner
The next false happiness is what matters
We must seek education or continue this
A world were we do nothing but exist
Was it meant for all to succeed?
Or the words we abide by truly undermine and deceive
Their are rules, but whom do they apply to
Not to most of us just the priviledged few
Racism is still concealed but in our face
Open your eyes young people learn from history's mistake
Preach to all of the youth to matriculate
Or history will repeat itself, Pain in a Happy Place
