Zzz Poem by Timothy Long

Zzz

sleepy sleepy sleep, pillow soft and feathery, blanket long and flowing, comfortable in camping, lovingly dovey cuddling two, dull eyes slipping under, slipping under the covers, hours of playing and sweating, lower the energy to keep the eyes wide open, dream land for anytime ago, no more harm to come, behold the almighty blanket, off to the city with time to spare, no patience to think of, not believing in one thing anymore, taking them down to the streets, never frustrating nor anger to ruin lives with jealousy or jam, struggling to keep up with you day to evening, getting ready with no distractions today or ever, going from smart to mindless, zzz, sleeping at last, sleeping at last, finally sleeping at last.
