Zen Poem by Daniel Y.

Zen

Rating: 5.0

Useless, these words.
And fish breathe God-knows-what
until they’re plucked up, and gasping.
Have they a word for it? Garble.
A negative way indeed.
The moon was never captured by pointing.
Nor was it netted by small-stepping leaps.

Where did I go when all became one?
I was no more, everything was “here”.
Same moon, same house, same air, - but me?
Nowhere, nothing.
Properly.

Words may be useless but I like how you have used them here. It captures the inadequacy of words describe the experience of being at one with the universe. Intriguing..
