Youth Love Poem by Ma Eugenia Carrasco

Youth Love

My love, what about your life,
I can’t even forget you in my lonely nights,
Nor our special moments together.

Remember is so harmful and so difficult to forget

What about your life, I don’t know;
I only know I wander here in this too deep loneliness,
Dark and cold pit,
As your love were mi sun and now it is gone I have nothing,
Neither the remembrances, they’re gone with you.

Later maybe someday you’ll be back late, yet, to love you,
However, today I drown here in this place,
Waiting you to come back healing the sadness and loneliness settled in my soul.

I remember your look and smile,
With those you knew how to erase my hatred to you,
But all this are only words.

But this love you gave me one day, clean and pure,
Now I lost it and never, ever will it come back as I had it before;

This love you gave me,
With the hope of being returned with,
Although just to say you I want you, but not to say:
My love I love you.
