You're All The Magic Of A Sunset Poem by Alexander Thomas

You're All The Magic Of A Sunset

If I were to separate all the threads of light from a sunset
Into strings to play chords for a glorious harmony,
Could it be grander than thou?

You are a great symphony of colour and sound,
Even more magnificent than this exalting panoply!
Your effulgence is the ceaseless amber fire in my heart.

You're the strings, the brasses and the winds,
You're all the high notes, soft notes and tender notes,
All the orange hues, bronzes and golds!

You're all the magic of sunset and more,
All the cherished dreams of twilight reverie and sun kissed daydreams of dawn awakening,
You are the mesmeric fantasia that plays on and on!
