Your Words. Poem by Chaun Allen

Your Words.

The words like venom they burn
It's all I hear from you and your ilk

Not strong enough, unable to turn
To recede into a place of hope

Deeper and deeper your poison burns
Succumbing to the hate, unable to feel

More and more the venom churns
Slipping into a place of no return

Searching for help to ease the pain
Only to spew my own poison in return.
