This Mask I Wear Poem by Chaun Allen

This Mask I Wear

This mask I wear, I hide behind
Only helps to cover my ill mind

This suit I wear, scarred and bloodied
Only helps to prevent the wrongs Ive studied

The smiles you get, the laughs I hear
Never real, never the way I truly feel

Yet inside, only you can show me
That once again I'm loved, though I'm so unworthy.
