Your Love Alone (Does It All) Poem by Carolyn Buck

Your Love Alone (Does It All)

I could ask for gifts far untold,
unreachable; only to be denied it all
I'll settle for something,
more less outgoing,
like your love, in the long run,
it 'lone does it all.
You do things for me;
I'm 'ternally grateful,
come to me at loves' bekon call,
fill my soul with deepest emotions,
"my love", "your" love alone
does it all.
I could ask for things
not necessarily wanted,
even wish for the future unknonwn,
in my mind that wouldn't
be fullfilling,
know in my heart your love does
it all alone.
You do things for me;
I'm 'ternally grateful,
come to me at loves' bekon call,
fill my soul with deepest emotions,
"my love", "your" love alone
does it all.
