Your eyes
A window to your soul.
Revealing so much.
Your joys, your pains.
All that makes you special to me.
A softness,
hidden behind a tough exterior.
So many struggles.
Yet a strength.
A will to keep going.
A kindness.
In a sometimes cruel world.
The love of a child,
such sweetness there.
A reflection of a smile.
That warms my heart.
A longing
to be loved
uncondtionally.
Your eyes....
A window to your soul.
