Young Lover's Call Poem by Paul Sebastian

Young Lover's Call

Waiting anxiously for a call
Time suddenly seems to crawl
Messaging, abruptly stalled
Cracking nerves scream aloud

A Hundred questions race in mind
Each seems without an answer
Reasons, mind searching to find
Mounting impatience of teenager

Phone blinks rose-sticker message
"I am at meeting, love you! '
Instant response, pacifying love language
Messaged back, love you too!

Sent a solitary love-wet rose
With drenched soulful prose:
I drink every blessing drop on you
Eat love-honey oozing from you
Shower petals of love at your feet
Worship my goddess lifelong deep
On eagle wings, we would fly
As eagles, our love we'd boldly cry
Over storms, we will glide
Our souls will forever abide
Nothing to separate our souls
Nothing to put us on hold
We'll be free to love each other
Until all eternity be together
