Young Lady Poem by Edwina Aleme

Young Lady

oh! young lady
what are you thinking?
you want to climb the social ladder,
wanting to be like cindy crawford, naomi campbell,
tyra banks and all that.... think!
Nowadays life seems to run too fast
young girls, fast to be women.... think!

A lady has poise and class
she, so graceful...
she is virtous woman
absent minded to uninteresting things,
looking out for someone to reach out to
in love....think!
she is a friend, mother and wife...
very confident, a confidant
she is a wonderful person, good and kind....think!
like Abigail, she is he fathers' love.

To fast growing girls, she said
'strive to be a good friend, mother, wife and
everything God wants you to be, because
a beautiful woman that one that knows God'....Think
don't let the outward decieve you,
just stay focused, young lady....Think
