You Were Life's Gift To Me Poem by Robert Leary

You Were Life's Gift To Me

It"s the little things I miss
Like buying you a gift
Now the windows are all empty
But for a vague shadow
Of my image
Missed is the smile evoked
When something made you happy.

It's the little things I miss
As I hold back the tears
Desperate for asolution
A solvent of our happy memories.
You were Life's gift to me.
