You Saved Me Poem by Zarabeth Pawlowski

You Saved Me

Rating: 3.8

Do I have to spell things out
To know I will be heard?
I've been half-cocked most my live
So lessons were not learned.

Most people are pure blind in things i say and do
Barely scrapping whats on top,
Not bothering to look into the truths.

My soul is reaching out,
Calling in dispair
I'm looking at these sober-minded people
Knowing they don't care.

Will you help me out?
Of this deep dark trench
I never thought you would come
For i am a prisoner sitting on a bench.

Hoping for light
But only seeing black
I can not cheet my way out
Because it is you i lack.

Now that you found me,
Nothing will be the same
Not now, not ever
Just because you came.
