You'Re Still My Daddy Poem by Kaitlyn Leighsomething

You'Re Still My Daddy

Rating: 4.8

Whenever I fell
You were always there
And everyone could tell
How much love you share
Even though you're dead and gone,
You're still MY daddy.
I see your face way beyond
The mountains, and looking
Down on me with pride.
Just today I cried
Like every other day and night
Because the thought of you being gone
Turned our lives into a saddened fight
But we've won alright
You've shown your light
And now I'll show mine
It'll get better all the time
God won't make a mountain I cant climb
And knowing you're in heaven
Means the world to me
People, they are naive and mean
I wish they could only see
That it REALLY was this bad
But I'm not mad
Only because...You're still my Daddy.

This is a lovely tribute to a father. It is the kind of thing everybody likes to readcand so do I. A good way to spend time. GW62
