You Made Me Wonder
you made me wonder
wonder how i could miss
all the faults i was blind to
that lead me to this
if your words were true
and my heart boiled over
then what of the lovebugs
or the four leaf clover
that died in vain
in stifling heat
shoved into the crevice of your passenger seat
that
of my heart was not derived
but the sparks i recount
galavanting about
oh so pleasently shimmered
then died.
