Brown Eyes Poem by Liz Connolly

Brown Eyes

Drowning in amazing brown eyes
A smile that says
I don't want to go
Takes my heart
And keeps it too
Just beams with those beautiful eyes

They reluctantly go
Till tomorrow, I hope
Looking back once or twice
With a look of desire
One haunting loving glace
I then return
And wish that it hadn't to end

I'm dragging my feet
From one hour to the next
An eternity's passed
when I fall into sleep
And dream of those beautiful eyes
I know that I'll
Love drowning in tomorrow.
