Truth Poem by Liz Connolly

Truth

I've spun off my path
And what my fate has chosen
Is risky and morbid
But I like the feeling
Of being all on my own
And knowing what I am
That this isn't my fault
And this wasn't my plan
And now all that is left
I can hide or reveal
But I like to ignore
That I know this is real
