It has been awhile
Since I felt love, can not lie
Never dreamed it would feel so right
Felt it interesting that I
Couldn't let go of the pain
for a past lover in my life

See, You've spent so many nights alone
Trying to find someone to fill that void
Convincing yourself
You've found someone to love
When that's not necessarily true
You'd romanticize and hoped
I'd feel the same way too

you want to be close
but I'll never love you
Want to be more than just friends
but there's not one feeling there
Walked me into your life
with the wrong intentions
all the time that we'd share
means nothing pay attention

so now that leaves you heartbroken
after, I'd developed for you, no emotions
Played yourself for a fool
Don't mean to be cruel
sorry to say,
but, You Have no chance

Couldn't you have been honest
and told me from day one
It wouldn't of changed the outcome
There'd still be a conflict of interests
