You Are An Overthinker Poem by Irfan Habeeb

You Are An Overthinker

A whisper in your ear
A hidden truth or lie
A warning you must hear
Before you say goodbye

Your past, present, future
Your mind is always sure
Your pain is self-inflicted
Your logic is restricted

You struggle to escape
The fiction you create
You know your thoughts are valid
But they make you feel invalid

Your reality is yours
Your certainty is pure
You are an overthinker
You have a different vision

You may not succeed
But you excel in reason
You are always honest
And your thoughts become your actions
