A Vicious Cycle
A void in my chest
Where love used to reside
Now only echoes of rejection
I silence my voice
To shield my pride
But guilt whispers in my ear
I reach out again
Hoping for a change
But only find more pain
A vicious cycle
Spinning out of control
I don't know how to break free
I train myself
To release the hold
And slowly heal the wound..
