I've swam the seas and reached the shore
I've searched the land but asked for more
I was out there, looking for a love that's true
Until I shot a glance around me and suddenly, there was you

I've been through too many battles, I've lost so many bouts
I've questioned life and my existence, I've asked what is this all about
I was out there, digging deeper for a meaning so true
Until I took the risky chances and found out that it is you

Yes it's you who brought me back to life, it's you who lit the way
Your presence turned me walking straight when I was led astray
For I was out there wandering aimlessly, in a world that has forgotten me
Until I looked at you and thanked the heavens they didn't simply let me be
