Yesterday's Rain Poem by Sneha M..

Yesterday's Rain

Rating: 5.0

Yesterday's rain left the earth
with clumsy atmosphere, like it pains.
Leaves in banyan tree still drip
so is my garden sunken in mud,
I was in vain.

My past pal sat beside the corner
of windows, near on legs were I.
Ages after farewell knocked this day
giving a spade to dig memories
gone astray.

Cascade of yester joys undid
melodramatic yells of joy 'n sorrow,
hollow heart winds dashing via hollow heart
tears got filled in by departed tears
glowing in sunshine.

Scent of nectar smelled in tears
of sheer bliss, lips won smile
back deep into eyes, memories
triggered hormones to work,
Once more, it gave a new life!
