Yesterday In A Breeze Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Yesterday In A Breeze

There's a midnight avenue
floating in moonlight
where the headlights sway
in the soft summer haze.

I'm going to eradicate
the negative news
and dance on the broken streets
where once I wept,

and I'll sing like a sparrow
to the girl with the Sphinx tattoo.
