Years Might Have Passed. Poem by Natasha George

Years Might Have Passed.

To my best friend Aswathy Mohan.

Years might have passed
since we met...
But your many jokes
and contagious laughter
still echoes in my mind.
I look around to find
you as I walk from lane to lane,
But till now in vain.

Years might have passed
since we met...
But your melodious songs
still replay in my mind.
Your ever attracting beauty
still as clear as glass to me.
The time we spent together,
playing, chatting, gossiping,
shopping and ofcourse studying,
still vivid as a drama scene,
the drama of my life.

Years might have passed
since we met...
But I still continue my search,
with the hope that to you I'l reach...
