I Do Not... Poem by Natasha George

I do not know how to cry,
as my tears have dried up.
I do not have any feelings,
as my heart is numb with pain.
I do not know for what I'm waiting,
for this waiting is now an oblivion.
I do not know what to do,
for I'm lost in this journey called life.

I scream out from my castle,
hoping my prince would come and rescue me soon.
I do not understand what is soon,
for it's a time that never has come.
I have forgotten to smile from inside,
for the grief of separation is engraved deep within me.

I hope that one day I'll break all these and run free,
as i want to live my life once again and be happy.
