Yawning Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Yawning

Yawning

Talk is cheap; wind at sea
And too much; of mankind:
“Has achieved very much…”

Then claims go further:
“Has done this, has done that.”
Of science; the moon is discovered…
“The Macro and Micro…”

What about behaviour, character
Love and care and moral?
Children and parents, and social?

What happened?

Once we yawned closed mouth
Never chewed showing up
Each had own etiquette
Now yawning like the cat
We eat as do camels.

I see us gone reverse
In many if not all
aspect of the man’s life

No respect; disrespect
Shamelessly we dress
On the roads, workplace

What is wrong with mankind?
