X Diary 05 Time To Go
We walk as if on weakening ice
Above a great darkness.
Dancing is - difficult
When the ice is thin.
Hey listen!
There's a light below the ice.
“Let go!
The water's fine for drowning,
And there’s music in the deep.”
Fishes of light
Part the banded water
In turning eddies of song.
I'm terrified of falling through a frozen lake Stewart..........so the metaphor here really got me! Great poem. Sincerely, mary
