Why must life be so hard,
Why does it play that card,
You may think your life's perfect,
But then it catches you off guard.

One day you have a boyfriend,
You wanted him till the very end,
But then someone else comes into your life,
And then your emotions turn into a blend.

You get confused about your life,
And you don't know what to do,
Do you want to stay with your love,
Or do you want something new?

I think I'm in something like this now,
The feeling is not so good,
It feels like my heart is torn in two,
If it doesn't hurt it should.

Why is this happening to me,
I feel all chained up i want to be free,
My boyfriend says he wants to write me a song,
But my second thoughts,
His life,
What if we're wrong?
