Writing On The Wall Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Writing On The Wall

Writing on the wall

I wonder if you too, remember
I was short, you were tall
Last tango was for us
And slow we danced tight
With your chest my headrest
Thank you dear Ann
Regardless where you are

I still think of you
Not for dance or the rest
But for words and kindness
Them you carved with softness
With warmth of your heart
Thank you dear Ann
Regardless where you are

You told me of White House
You taught me politics
"They are lies"
Then you said:
"Their spies are like dogs CIA, KGB; MI6"
And at last: "The writings on the wall"
Thank you dear Ann
Regardless where you are

San Anton in Texas
And the year 69
The Fort Lee was class
And you were my Prof
Thank you dear Ann
Regardless where you are

Thank you dear Ann
Regardless where you are

Thank you dear Ann
Regardless where you are
