Writer's Block Poem by Artemis Zeus

Writer's Block

Rating: 4.5

Wirting a poem, not knowing where to go
having an idea but not exactly sure
Whether to rhyme, use patterns
or free verse

Whether to write from the heart, mind or soul
Whether to write about something that nobody knows
Whether to write about memories or hope
Heartbreak or people that you've hurt

What emotion does this poem need?
Anger, confusion, happiness or numbness?
Boredom, I think, but I don't really know
Not knowing how one feels may be a problem when writing a poem

You must care about what you're writitng about though
But you need unique touch, whatever that means
Unique...
A characteristic or quality that makes one stand out
More like stand alone

My pencil's not moving
My mind is not thinking
My brain is just a blank emotionless wall
So I give up this writing
My writer block wins
Perhaps tonight I'll attempt
To write this poem again
