Wrapped In My Gaze Poem by Echo of the forest

Wrapped In My Gaze

Rating: 5.0

She was dressed solely in my gaze
wrapped in it
and she asked me: how do I look? does it fit me?
my neighbours gaze was a bit too tight
they were seeing me like a child
so I took it down
and layed it on the floor
like a venison
that can do nothing more but sniff my feet

your gaze makes me feel like a woman,
the only diver's suit in which I can breath outside my chambers,
that is how I came here
the eyes of the bypassers became steps
lifting me, bringing me down
even more than usual
I was slipping on the mens gaze like on a sleighing
the women didn't want to see nothing more than an empty glass
but I am like a full Moon,
like a soft Moon...

Fantastic gem, your poetry, Alexandru, is a most gorgeous piece of art! Music, painting and motion all in one to ease the reader's soul with a glass of love, a drop of play and even the whispers of a neighbour's voice. Excellent penning, thank you for share!
