Wounded Women Poem by Vijay Sai R

Wounded Women

Destitute and abandoned
Widowed and forsaken
Such women
As a case of
Curse or not
Reason unknown
As refugees in
A tiny hamlet
As far as in Afghanistan
Small homes
Diameter nearly just more than
A rodent's burrow
Struggling to save them-selves
From poverty
Withstanding extreme weather
Too hot to too cold
Apathetic living
Food and clothing...
What about their future?
Who will take care?
