Worth Waiting For Poem by Rachel Brewer

Worth Waiting For

Give me time, time to find me, and then we can find us.
Give me time to discover the world, and then we can make a home.
Give me time to be who I am, then we can be us.
Give me time to adjust, to life with you.
Give me time to feel at home in our life, and to feel safe.
Only then can we be happy.
And we will be happy, I know it.
So please give me time,
Because it, that life,
It’s worth waiting for.

When did you write this? I like. One thing I realized is that everyone can create, and that most people are pretty intelligent if they apply themselves, and that young people are deceptively mature, for the most part. But I say that because I would bet you wrote this before 19, or even 18, yet the wisdom is timeless
