Worries Like Weeds Poem by Francis Duggan

Worries Like Weeds

Rating: 5.0

You let them all out there your phobias and fears
And you let them all out there your heartbreaking tears
And you let it all out there your sense of despair
Such stuff heavy baggage just let it out there.

Your cross in life for you seems heavy to bear
And your type of person sad to say not rare
But worries like weeds in your heart multiply
And laughter is the spray to them you should apply.

Yes worries like weeds they multiply and grow
And worries like weeds always seem to self sow
And each negative thought plants a negative seed
And further from happiness yourself you do lead.

Worries can give you cancer and make you feel ill
And any happiness in your heart worries can kill
And though laughter from you may not keep the worries away
You should laugh at least once or twice every day.
