World Of Darkness Poem by Ken Suh

World Of Darkness

Rating: 4.5

Waking up to a dark dreary world
the drug is in affect
My head has gone off
where is this place?

Darkness all darkness
none can see through
No bliss, no happiness
love? where are you?

Walking.......walking on and on
no beginning, no end
The drug is still strong
where am I going?

Powerless I feel
something missing, all black
I hear nothing, nothing at all
but a tiny faint voice

Eating.....eating, nothingness
its strange because I chew
The drug is weakening
what am I eating?

Darkness all darkness
none can see through
No bliss, no happiness
My life? where are you?

feeling.....feeling, emptiness
I can never, will never fathom
The drug has lost its edge
how do I feel?

The voice is getting stronger, stronger every moment
my breath is short, my heart has a flame
the blackness disappears
my love, life, appears

holding....holding everything
everything with meaning in my heart
Holding you, my life, love itself
never shall we part

Lovingly, I look at her face, a pale color white
something hit my heart......I cried
my hope, my only love has gone
has died

then suddenly............

Darkness all darkness
none can see through
no bliss, no happiness
Love! where have you gone!

Pain......pain, has caught my soul
has cut my arms, my legs
but no, the pain can never cease
till I lay down.......dead

Death.......death is all I feel
the poison in my hand
all I need to do is drink, and sleep
forever, leaving my nightmare land

It's really good. Like everyone says it reminds me a little of Romeo and Juliet. Very strong!

Arik is right, sorta like Romeo & Juliet. Alas! the poison is fast, .. and no turning back! : {
