Let it be a solemn goal in every human heart
To live in peace, to delight in the free air
we breathe in our lungs, the free birds flying
before our eyes, the waves of the sea touching
the shorelines, the mountains wavering in heights.

Let it be a solemn dream in every human heart
To live in peace with every man and woman,
youth and child, with every person of other culture
language and religion, to eat together around tables
of trust, sharing stories of love and hope in life.
