Words Of Advice And Admonishment To My Nephews (Or Why You Shouldn'T Ask Me To Babysit) Poem by Heidi K. Haskell

Words Of Advice And Admonishment To My Nephews (Or Why You Shouldn'T Ask Me To Babysit)

Rating: 5.0

Don't hit your brother.
Try not to whine.
Yes, Mommy loves you,
But she needs Me Time.
Have a banana;
Just go to sleep.
Nobody loves you
When you wail and weep.
Yes, I can see you;
Don't kill the cat.
How many times must
I say 'Don't touch that'?
Please, go to sleep now.
Careful, that's hot.
Please don't kiss me when
You're covered with snot.
Kid, please stop whining.
Here, try a cookie.
Don't make that noise, dear -
You sound like a Wookie.
Don't throw the diaper.
Don't eat that fuzz.
I don't know why it
Does that; it just does.
Because I said so.
Don't hit your brother.
What's taking so long?
Where is your mother?
You don't get to hit me.
Just eat your eggs.
Be good for your mother -
Break hearts and break legs.
