Won't Follow Poem by Randy McClave

Won't Follow

If they break the law then send them to jail
If they are sinners then send them straight to Hell,
If they have ever attacked or raped or ever molested
Then have them all arrested.
If they had continuously rob and have stole
Then damn their very soul,
If needing money is their pleads and for it they moan
Then tell them to get another job, or get a loan.
If I listen to their sad story will they listen to mine
Will they give me sympathy when I'm broke and cryin',
Will they support and fight for me as they want me to do for them
And will they support me when it comes to sink or swim.
Do they want me to follow them wherever they go
Never did I see them walking behind me in the water or snow,
Do they want me to see them as a dictator or a king
Or do they want me to bow down to them and kiss their ring.
If they tell me lies am I to believe every lie that they said
Instead of truth and facts should I believe them instead,
I wander if they think that I am truly gullible and dumb
And not knowing where I come from.
Did they had a hard life and beginning like I or my family did
They would most likely say, "God forbid"!
And could or would they ever walk in my shoes
I would say to that situation they would quickly refuse.
Do they ever read any of my comments or post
Most of what I write is inspired by the Holy Ghost,
I have read some of their supporters comments and posting
It seems to me that the Devil they are hosting.
Do they want me to believe every word that they speak
Especially when hate and evil they do solemnly and surely seek,
Worshiping only my Lord Jesus is my truest belief and position
I don't or won't ever worship or follow any politician.
