Wondrous World Poem by Adamae Liege

Wondrous World

Rating: 5.0

I wake to see the colors
Stream through my window wide
The colors dance and twinkle
And spin on a joyous ride
And wondrous thoughts fill my head
Oh they run through my mind

I run through my yard
Fleeing captivity
And to the great outdoors
and the great outdoors sing and call to me
And wondrous feelings fill my head
Oh all the sadness does flee

I sit on the sill
Of my window pane
Wishing to just be free
But I still must sit and still refrain
And wondrous smells fill my head
Oh all the gladness I must feign

I walk happily down the street
Rain pouring on my head
All the sadness I feel
Leaks as the skies have bled
And the Wondrous sights fill my head
Oh all the greatness I have misread

I sit my back against a tree
When finally it hits
The world is great oh great
And sunshine does the sky admit
And the wondrous world does fill my head
And all beauty of the world does fit
And all beauty of the world piece by piece does fit
